Tristram’s route into chiropractic has been anything but traditional. Before graduating with a Master’s in Chiropractic, he worked in the Merchant Navy, spent 10 years as a Police Officer, and later ran his own personal training and massage therapy business.
That varied background has shaped the way he works with patients today. He understands how pain, injury and stress can affect everyday life, work, sport and confidence, and he takes a practical, down to earth approach to care.
Before becoming a chiropractor, Tristram worked with local rugby clubs providing strength and conditioning support and match day first aid, as well as working with Alderbrook School as a Health and Fitness Consultant. He has always had a strong interest in sport and movement, having taken part in CrossFit competitions, ultra-marathons and long-distance cycling events, including riding from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
Alongside his clinical work, Tristram also teaches chiropractic technique at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, helping the next generation of chiropractors develop safe, confident and effective hands on skills.
Outside of clinic, Tristram is a husband and father, and life at home is kept busy with family, a dog, and usually some form of training or cycling. He is often found on his bike, in the gym, or trying to convince himself that another endurance challenge is a good idea
